Elaine Williams is the scenic designer for Bucknell University’s vibrant theatre and dance programs. Her courses offer a strong interdisciplinary and scenographic perspective and include THEA 246 Scene Design, THEA 249 Masks and Makeup, and THEA 347 Visual Style, a collaborative design studio course for advanced artists. Elaine also teaches Masks and Meaning in the Arts Residential College.
She is an Affiliated Artist with Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble and has also designed for Center for Puppetry Arts, Alliance Theatre, Georgia Shakespeare Festival, Horizon Theatre, and Theatre in the Square in Atlanta and Stage One: The Louisville Children’s Theatre.
She holds a M.F.A. from University of Georgia in scenography and a B.A. in studio art/art history and theatre from Agnes Scott College.

Elaine’s office is located behind the Harvey M. Powers Theatre in Theatre 134.
If coming from Coleman Hall, walk through the Harvey M. Powers Theatre auditorium, cross the stage, and enter through the stage right door in back wall of theatre. If taking an outside route, enter the Theatre and Dance offices from the door facing the music building.
